APPLICATION PROCESS
St. Barnabas School of Nursing uses the centralized online application system developed by the Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (DHERST).
The National Online Application System provides a single platform for prospective students to apply.
This application process applies to:
- School Leavers (SL)
- Non-School Leavers (NSL)
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
SCHOOL LEAVERS
Candidates must:
- Be a Grade 12 leaver
- Have Studied Science Subjects, English, and Mathematics
Minimum Subject Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
- GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Medically fit (provide recent medical certificate)
- No criminal record (provide recent police clearance report)
NON-SCHOOL LEAVERS
Applicants must:
- Meet all entry requirements from school leavers
- Provide character reference from recognised community leaders:
- Pastor
- Priest
- Bishop
- Councillor
- Community leaders
- Be below 35 years of age
- Demonstrate Christian morals and values

The school fees for the 2026 academic year are:

2. UPFRONT PAYMENT REQUIREMENT
A minimum of 75% of total school fees or more must be paid before enrollment is completed.

- All school fee payments must be made directly into the school's bank account.
- Cash and cheque payments will not be accepted.
- School fees are non-refundable if dismissal or termination occurs due to academic failure or disciplinary reasons.

DHERST facilitates credential issuance through:
- FODE Coordinators
- Secondary School Principals
- Nearby Higher Education Institutions
